SIMONE RICHTER

Simone founded Balwyn North Podiatry Clinic in 1995. She has over 30 years of experience in private practice and is passionate about helping keep people mobile and pain-free. She loves dealing with all patients, especially the elderly.
LEONIE STEWART
B.Sc., B.App.Sc.(Pod)
Leonie was awarded the Brooks Podiatry Award for Academic Excellence in 1996. She has a special interest in children’s foot conditions, lower limb biomechanics, orthotic prescription and the diabetic foot. She offers personalised and comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
RACHEL TAYLOR
B.App.Sc.(Pod)
In addition to private practice experience, Rachel has worked in a footwear store, conducting biomechanical gait assessments and shoe fittings. She enjoys providing all general podiatry services including diabetes assessment and education, and nail surgery.
KATE CAREY
B.Sc., B.App.Sc.(Pod)
Kate’s experience includes 3 years working at one of Australia’s largest podiatry centres in Townsville, where she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. Her interests include general podiatry services, nail surgery, diabetic foot care, and foot care for every age.
LISA MARSDEN
Lisa worked in educational & hospital administration before joining our team in early 2019. A self-proclaimed people-person, she loves having a friendly chat with patients and providing exceptional customer service.
ANDREA MCBRIDE
Andrea has extensive reception experience and loves working with people. She worked as a massage therapist for over 20 years before joining our team. Her interests include yoga, walking, candle making and looking after her young grandson.
MARILYN ORWIN
Marilyn has lived in Balwyn North for 26 years. She really enjoys her work and has been our receptionist for 10 years. Previously, she worked as a fitness teacher, and loves bike riding and rowing. Her 2 young grandchildren keep her very busy when she’s not at work.

Orthotics
We can help with custom-made or off-the-shelf orthotics to help treat foot, leg, knee or back problems.
Nail Surgery
We can help treat recent or re-occurring ingrown toe nails with quick and effective nail surgery options.
Senior Podiatry
We can help with common ailments such as those from arthritis, diabetes or pain from foot, hip, ankle or knee conditions.
Children's Podiatry
We’re always happy to help with common childhood ailments such as heel pain, warts and ingrown toe nails.
Sports Podiatry
We can help correct biomechanical dysfunction of your feet, to help reduce painful injuries caused by the repetitive nature of sport and exercise, ie plantar fasciitis or heel pain.
